The federal government may shut down after the US Senate rejected a bill to fund government agencies.

Axar.az reports that US President Donald Trump said this.

“We will continue negotiations with the Democrats, but I think the country may be shut down for a while. We will take care of the armed forces, social payments,” Trump said.

It should be noted that the US Senate has not adopted a bill to fund federal agencies by November 21 of this year. If the House of Representatives and the Senate fail to adopt this document, the government will be shut down on October 1, the start of the new fiscal year. In this case, civil servants, including military personnel, will not receive salaries.
