Armenian FM rejects Turkiye’s Azerbaijan peace deadline

The Armenian Foreign Minister has not confirmed the deadline announced by his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, for signing a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia at the beginning of next year.

Axar.az reports that he told journalists about this.

“I recommend that you send a request to the Turkish Foreign Ministry in this regard,” Mirzoyan noted.

Recall that earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that the signing of a final agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan would be possible in the first half of 2026.
