The details of the “Trump Road” (Zangezur Corridor) will be clarified through contacts, discussions, and negotiations between the Armenian and US delegations.
Axar.az reports that this was stated by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
“There are general understandings with the Azerbaijani side, and these are reflected in the Washington Declaration, which stipulates that the opening of communications will be carried out within the territorial integrity, inviolability of borders, sovereignty and jurisdiction of both countries, without obstacles, with mutual benefits,” the minister said.
“Why, unlike Azerbaijan, does the document not contain the phrase 'unhindered passage' in the section on Armenia?” Mirzoyan replied as follows:
“What is unhindered passage? There are dozens of conventions and international documents that Armenia has obligations regarding unhindered passage. Moreover, it is not only related to Azerbaijan.”
The Foreign Minister advised not to listen to the Armenian opposition on these and other issues.
