Nearly one million refugees have returned to Syria since the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad.
Axar.az informs that The Washington Post has reported this, citing the UN Refugee Agency.
According to the information, since December last year, 419,000 Syrians have returned to their homeland from Turkey, 334,000 from Lebanon, 204,000 from Jordan, 37,000 from Iraq, and 27,000 from Egypt.
Of the returnees, 350 thousand settled in Damascus and Aleppo, and 95 thousand in the city of Daraa.
