The US has asked the Turkish company "Baykar" to open production in its territory.

Axar.az reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said this.

It was noted that the "Bayrakdar TB2" drones belonging to the "Baykar" company were described as a symbol of Turkiye's regional deterrence in the report submitted to Congress.

The document also emphasized Turkiye's role in NATO, its strategic location in the Black Sea region, and the growth of its defense industry:

"The effective use of Bayrakdar's drones by the Ukrainians in surveillance and attack operations surprised the Russian military. This drone changed the course of the war in 2022 and demonstrates Turkiye's leadership in drone production."
