Republika Srpska President urges Putin to focus on Balkans

At a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, I asked him to continue his appeal to the Balkans in his dialogue with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, and to try to develop sustainable solutions.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the President of the Republic of Srpska (a subject of Bosnia and Herzegovina - ed.).

"I asked the president to emphasize another issue that could be of great importance in the negotiations between Russia and the United States. If an agreement is reached between the two world powers, it is very important not to lose focus on the Balkans. Perhaps the most appropriate solution would be the creation of a Balkan commission as part of the final agreement between Russia and the United States," Dodik noted.
