Tehran rules out resuming talks with E3 over nuclear issue

Iranian authorities see no reason to resume nuclear talks with the E3 countries (the United Kingdom, Germany, and France) amid the reinstatement of sanctions against Tehran.

Axar.az reports that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated this.

“The European countries have failed to fulfill their commitments to the Islamic Republic in the past. Therefore, Tehran currently sees no reason to restore dialogue with the E3. At the same time, the U.S., by unilaterally withdrawing from the agreement (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action signed in 2015), destroyed all trust in the negotiations. There is no direct contact with the United States at present,” he noted.
