The Ukrainian army has begun filling sewage pipes in Pokrovsk with wastewater to prevent Russian soldiers from using underground passages.
Axar.az reports that this information was shared by Russia’s “Mash” Telegram channel.
It was noted that since December 2024, Pokrovsk has been cut off from gas supply and the sewage system has not been maintained. As a result, Ukrainian forces have started filling the tunnels with waste and mining the gas pipeline.
It is worth noting that Russian troops have already managed to infiltrate several settlements using the pipes.
