Hamas reasserts control in Gaza after ceasefire

Hamas has rapidly acted to restore its control in the Gaza Strip just hours after the ceasefire agreement.

Axar.az reports, citing a local resident via the Financial Times, that the group has been moving swiftly across Gaza to display its power.

According to residents, Hamas has engaged in armed clashes with rivals and is targeting Palestinians suspected of collaborating with Israel, using violence to enforce control.

It is worth noting that a Peace Summit regarding the Gaza ceasefire agreement will be held on October 13 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
