US helps Ukraine strike Russian energy infrastructure

The United States has been assisting Ukraine for several months in carrying out long-range strikes on Russia’s energy infrastructure.

Axar.az informs that, citing official sources, the “Financial Times” reported on this.

The information indicates that these actions are part of coordinated efforts aimed at weakening the Russian economy and compelling President Vladimir Putin to negotiate.

According to Ukrainian and American officials, intelligence shared by the U.S. with Kyiv has enabled Ukraine to strike strategic energy facilities, including oil refineries, located far from the frontlines:

“The U.S. intelligence provides Ukraine with details for drones to evade Russia’s air defense systems, including strike routes, altitude, and timing. Washington is directly involved in all stages of planning. Ukraine chooses the targets for long-range strikes, while the U.S. provides intelligence on the vulnerabilities of these facilities. Additionally, Washington identifies priority targets within Russia itself."
