Attacks on Red Sea ships to stop if ceasefire upheld

The Houthis will stop firing at Israel and halt attacks on related vessels in the Red Sea if Tel Aviv abides by the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

Axar.az reports that Huzam al‑Asad, a member of the Ansarullah (Houthi) Political Bureau in Yemen, made the statement.

“If Israel complies with the agreement, our military operations will be suspended, but we will continue to monitor its implementation. If Israel renews its aggression in Gaza and its blockade against our people, we will continue our military operations at a pace more intense than before to halt its crimes and aggression,” al‑Asad said.

Note that the parties in Gaza accepted the peace plan and the ceasefire took effect on October 10.
