Pashinyan to visit Vatican for the canonization ceremony

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will pay a working visit to the Vatican on October 18-20.

Axar.az reports that the Armenian press reported on this.

Nikol Pashinyan will participate in the canonization ceremony (official declaration of a person as a saint in the Christian, especially the Catholic Church) of Archbishop Ignatius Maloyan and 6 other blessed persons in St. Peter's Square on October 19, chaired by Pope Leo XIV.

As part of the visit, the Armenian Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with the Pope and Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin.
