Germany sends soldiers to Israel to monitor the ceasefire

Germany will send three Bundeswehr soldiers to Israel to monitor compliance with the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.

Axar.az reports that local media outlets reported this, citing the press service of the German Ministry of Defense.

"Two Bundeswehr officers and a brigadier general will travel to Israel next week to perform their duties "in uniform but unarmed. They will work at the Civil-Military Coordination Center in southern Israel," the organization said.

The construction of the center is underway, and there will be about 200 servicemen in total.

In addition to monitoring, the center will coordinate the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
