Armenia expects Russian election interference

We have been living in this environment for several years now, and we know how this machine works. We have seen numerous attempts to interfere by outside players, including the player you mentioned (Russia).

Axar.az reports Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said this in an interview with DW.

He answered a question from a German TV channel reporter about whether they expect interference from Russia during the parliamentary elections in Armenia.

“It is likely that such attempts will increase even more (as the elections approach). We have already talked to you about the sharp criticism of the Armenian government and democracy by the Russian press. We assume that this may intensify in the coming months.”
