Iran officially suspends 2015 nuclear deal (JCPOA)

Iran has officially terminated the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) it signed with world powers in 2015.

Axar.az informs that the Guardian reported on this.

According to the report, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that “all provisions of the agreement, including restrictions on its nuclear program, have been suspended.” Tehran stressed its commitment to diplomacy.

It should be noted that the JCPOA effectively lost force after the US withdrew from the agreement in 2018.
