4.2-magnitude quake hits Turkiye’s Balikesir province

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 struck the Sindirgi district of Turkiye’s Balıkesir province.

Axar.az informs according to AFAD, the tremor occurred at 07:18 local time (08:18 Baku time) at a depth of 10 kilometers.

No damage or casualties have been reported.

It is worth noting that on October 27, a 6.1-magnitude earthquake had also been recorded in Balikesir.
