Hakan Fidan meets Montenegrin FM in Istanbul

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with his Montenegrin counterpart Ervin Ibrahimović in Istanbul.

Axar.az, citing Turkish media, reports that Fidan emphasized the importance of taking all necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of attacks targeting the safety and rights of Turkish citizens in Montenegro.

The meeting, which focused on strengthening cooperation between the two countries, was held in a positive atmosphere.

It should be noted that a few days earlier, Turkish and Azerbaijani citizens were attacked in Montenegro’s capital, Podgorica. Following the incidents, the Montenegrin government suspended its visa-free regime for Turkish citizens.
