Putin grants ambassadorial rank to Irada Zeynalova

Russia’s Ambassador to Mauritius, Irada Zeynalova, who is of Azerbaijani origin, has been awarded the diplomatic rank of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador.

Axar.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the relevant decree.

The decree was published on Russia’s official legal information portal.

It should be noted that Irada Zeynalova is a well-known Russian TV journalist. She has worked for many years as a special correspondent, program author, and host on various Russian television channels. In September 2024, she was appointed as Russia’s Ambassador to Mauritius.
