Meteor explodes over Moscow – Video

A meteor has exploded over Moscow.

Axar.az reports that fragments of the exploded meteor scattered across the Tver and Novgorod regions.

The mysterious green sphere spotted in the sky on Monday turned out to be a meteor about one meter in diameter.

It entered the atmosphere at a speed of 35 km per second, flew over Vologda, Cherepovets, and the Rybinsk Reservoir, and then exploded. Meteor fragments have now been found even along the highway between Moscow and St. Petersburg — some as large as a basketball.

It should be noted that on the night of September 27, a glowing green object moving rapidly across the Moscow sky was also observed.
