Pakistan launches artillery strikes on Afghan territory

The Pakistani army launched artillery strikes on Afghan territory.

Axar.az informs that AFP reported on this.

According to the information, the incident occurred when representatives of the two countries were holding peace talks in Turkiye. It was reported that Pakistan fired at civilian areas using both light and heavy weapons.

The publication writes that the artillery fire lasted about 10-15 minutes. The Afghan side refused to retaliate, justifying this by respecting the ongoing peace dialogue in Istanbul.

It should be noted that border clashes and mutual bombings between the two countries have intensified in recent days.
