France names squad for qualifiers

The French national team's squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine and Azerbaijan has been announced.

Axar.az reports that the head coach of the two-time world champions, Didier Deschamps, has invited 24 players to the national team:

Goalkeepers: Luc Chevalier, Mike Meignan, Bryce Samba

Defenders: Jonathan Kloss, Luca Digne, Theo Hernandez, Ibrahima Konate, Jules Kounde, Benjamin Pavard, William Saliba, Dayo Upamecano

Midfielders: Eduardo Camavinga, Matteo Guendouzi, Manu Kone, Adrien Rabiot, Aurelien Chouman, Warren Zaire-Emery

Forwarders: Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembele, Desir Due, Randal Kolo Muani, Kylian Mbappe, Michael Oliseh, Marcus Thuram

It should be noted that the French national team will host Ukraine on November 13, and 3 days later will host the Azerbaijani national team in Baku.
