Two magnitude 6 earthquakes hit off Japan’s coast

Two consecutive earthquakes of magnitude 6 were recorded off the coast of Japan today.

Axar.az informs that the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported this.

The epicenter of the earthquakes was located 128 kilometers east of the city of Miyako, which has a population of approximately 51 thousand.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 20 kilometers.

There is no information about losses and destruction. No tsunami threat was reported.

It should be noted that on November 9, a strong earthquake also occurred in northeastern Japan.
