Budapest summit possible if Putin, Trump agree on Ukraine

A possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump in Budapest will take place only if both sides reach an agreement on ways to end the conflict in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said this in an interview with Kossuth Radio.

“The summit will be held only if an agreement is reached that could end the war that has been going on in our neighborhood for three and a half years,” he stated.
