Consecutive tremors hit Turkiye

Three consecutive earthquakes with magnitudes above 4 struck the Sindirgi district of Turkiye’s Balikesir province.

Axar.az informs according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the tremors were recorded at 07:16, 07:20, and 07:21 Baku time.

The strongest quake measured 4.7 in magnitude, while the other two were 4.2.

The epicenters were located at depths of 12.31, 7.89, and 7 kilometers.

The tremors were also felt in nearby cities.
