EU leaders push to revise US-Ukraine peace plan

The leaders of the leading European states believe that at least four points of the US peace plan for Ukraine require changes.

Axar.az informs that the Bild newspaper reported this, citing its sources.

According to the publication, they are dissatisfied with the proposals to recognize Russia's sovereignty over Crimea, Donbas, and other territories.

In addition, the leaders consider the possible reduction of the Ukrainian army, security guarantees, and the use of frozen Russian assets problematic, and even intend to discuss them with the US.

Bild additionally emphasized that the US proposals regarding the assets caused particular dissatisfaction among German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
