U.S. makes changes to peace plan after Geneva talks

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the United States has made changes to its peace plan following negotiations with Ukraine in Geneva.

Axar.az reports that according to Sky News, Rubio told the press that today’s meetings were the most productive and effective for him.

He clarified that the Washington team has introduced certain adjustments to the peace plan, adding that much work still lies ahead. He noted that additional details may be provided later.

“I think we’ve made good progress,” he emphasized.

Rubio stated that the U.S. and Ukrainian teams have already returned to their rooms, and the American team is working on several proposals presented to them:

“We are working on them, making some revisions in hopes of narrowing the differences and moving toward something acceptable for both Ukraine and, of course, the United States.”
