Turkiye and South Korea build nuclear power plant

Turkiye and South Korea will jointly build a nuclear power plant (NPP).

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this during a meeting with his South Korean counterpart Lee Jae-man.

"Discussions are underway between the relevant agencies regarding the construction of a nuclear power plant. In this regard, I consider the memorandum of understanding signed between the Korea Electric Power Company and the Turkish Nuclear Energy Corporation an important step," Erdogan said.
