Thailand orders evacuation near Cambodia border

The Thai army has ordered residents of four provinces located on the border with Cambodia to evacuate due to the risk of intensified clashes.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Khaosod newspaper.

“The Second Army District has ordered residents of border areas in four provinces along the Thailand–Cambodia border to evacuate to shelters due to the risk of escalation of the confrontations,” the report said.

It should be noted that Thailand and Cambodia signed a peace agreement this October following military clashes.
