Germany troops in Middle East will defend themselves

A German government spokesperson said on Monday that the nation’s military personnel deployed in the Middle East have the right to defend themselves if attacked, following the US-Israeli military assault on Iran.

Axar.az informs, citing Reuters, Germany’s government is working “round the clock” to support its nationals stranded in the Middle East following widespread travel disruptions, a spokesperson for the foreign ministry said on Monday.
