First phase of ceasefire in Gaza almost complete

The first phase of the ceasefire in Gaza is almost complete. We plan to move to the second phase soon.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

“After the return of the last hostage, Sergeant Ran Gvil’s body, we expect to move to the second phase soon, which will be more difficult.

I will discuss this at the end of the month when I meet with U.S. President Donald Trump: how to end Hamas rule in Gaza? This is a crucial part of ensuring a different future for Gaza and for us facing Gaza.

The third phase will be to cleanse Gaza of radicalization, and this was done in Germany after World War II,” Netanyahu emphasized.
