US hasn’t followed its own rules but must set example

The United States had created a system of rules that could help punish bad leaders.

Axar.az reports that former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said this at a forum held in Doha.

“All of this was an attempt to create a system that could restrain bad leaders — leaders like Russian President Vladimir Putin, who wants to dominate and destroy his neighbors… They do terrible things and may not behave appropriately,” she said.

Clinton added that the United States has not followed these rules. However, in her view, the country should strive to set an example for other states.
