UK sets up new Military Intelligence Service amid threats

The UK authorities have announced the establishment of a new Military Intelligence Service (MIS) in response to “growing hostile threats.”

Axar.az reports, citing the website of the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom.

“The creation of the new Military Intelligence Service (MIS) by the Ministry of Defence will make British military intelligence more efficient and responsive, and enable it to better anticipate future threats,” the statement said.

According to the information, intelligence activity targeting the Ministry of Defence has increased by more than 50% over the past year.
