Trump allows strikes on Russia’s shadow fleet

The Trump administration has effectively authorized Ukraine to strike Russia’s “shadow fleet.”

Axar.az reports, citing The Atlantic.

US and Ukrainian officials told the publication that under Joe Biden’s leadership, Washington opposed attacks on Russian vessels in international waters out of concern over escalation. However, the situation changed with Trump’s presidency.

It was reported that Trump did not oppose strikes on Russia’s oil logistics. He approved the transfer of intelligence to Ukraine to target Russian oil infrastructure.
