No official request to deploy Turkish forces to Gaza

At present, no official request has been submitted to Ankara regarding the deployment of the Turkish Armed Forces to Gaza or participation in a possible foreign stabilization mission.

Axar.az reports that Turkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this in remarks to journalists while returning from his visit to Turkmenistan.

“No proposal or request has been made to us on this issue so far. We only hear rumors that certain meetings may be held on this matter. If such meetings are organized for the sake of peace, we are ready to participate at any time,” he said.
