Russia files lawsuit over frozen assets in Europe

Russia is taking measures in response to the freezing of its assets in Europe.

Axar.az informs that the "Business Insider" publication reported on this.

According to the information, the Central Bank of Russia considered the aforementioned step of the European Union illegal and filed a lawsuit against the "Euroclear" depository in a Moscow court.

The Central Bank said that the depository's steps limited Russia's ability to dispose of financial and securities.

It should be noted that the Council of the European Union (EU) decided to freeze Russia's sovereign assets once and for all
