Erdogan: Turkiye’s Gaza stance unchanged

Ankara's position on the issue of resolving the crisis in the Gaza Strip remains unchanged.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this at a meeting with students.

He noted that Turkiye continues to take the necessary steps in this direction and will not back down from its position. According to him, any step back on the Gaza issue is unacceptable in terms of either conscience or responsibility.

The Turkish authorities have repeatedly stressed the importance of resolving the Palestinian problem based on the two-state principle. Erdogan also listed ensuring a ceasefire in Gaza and delivering humanitarian aid as among his country's main priorities.
