Bangladesh summons Indian envoy over ex-PM Hasina's remarks

The Bangladesh Foreign Ministry has summoned Indian Ambassador Pranay Verma to express serious concern over the provocative statements made by former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is currently in India.

Axar.az reports that the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry stated this.

It was stated that Sheikh Hasina, who is in exile, aims to disrupt the upcoming parliamentary elections with her statements.

The Indian Foreign Ministry responded by saying that India has never allowed its territory to be used for activities against the interests of Bangladesh.
