Moscow to shape Ukraine stance after Miami talks

Moscow will shape its position on Ukraine based on information presented to the Russian president following the talks in Miami, and in the near future will continue contacts with Washington through existing channels.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov while commenting on the results of the visit to Miami by Russian President’s Special Representative and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Kirill Dmitriev, where Russia–US talks on Ukraine were held.

According to Peskov, Dmitriev has already briefed Vladimir Putin in detail on all aspects of the contacts, after which the Russian side will begin formulating its future position and continue dialogue with the United States.

Peskov emphasized that the main parameters of Russia’s position are well known to the American counterparts.
