A telephone conversation took place between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
Axar.az reports that V. Zelensky wrote about this on the X social network.
According to the Ukrainian leader, the parties exchanged information on relations with international partners and the process of preparing for meetings and negotiations in the United States. He noted that the Ukrainian and American negotiating teams have already made significant progress.
In particular, progress was noted in the work on the necessary security guarantees, the plan for the recovery and economic development of Ukraine, as well as on the 20-point framework document. The presidents agreed that the high intensity of the work is of decisive importance and that not a single day or hour should be lost.
"Now, as many countries and leaders celebrate Christmas and prepare for the New Year, we are working at full speed to save lives and find a diplomatic solution. We are doing everything we can to achieve results, and this is the approach we are using - common success is important for Ukraine and all of Europe, for the United States and President Donald Trump, for all our partners, and for global peace," Zelensky stressed.
Recall that Trump and Zelensky will meet on December 28 in Florida.
