M7.1 solar explosion hits the Sun

An explosion of magnitude M7.1 occurred on the Sun.

Axar.az reports that the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Institute for Space Research (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences published information about this.

It was reported that this is the first powerful explosion to occur on the Sun in three days.

According to scientists, the explosion peaked at 17:51 Baku time.

Note that solar explosions are divided into five classes depending on the strength of X-ray radiation: A, B, C, M and X.
