IDF dismantles Hamas weapons depot in central Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has dismantled a weapons storage facility used by Hamas in the central Gaza Strip in an aerial strike.

Axar.az reports, citing the IDF, that the facility contained various weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles, a launcher, and rockets.

The Israeli military said it had taken measures to reduce civilian casualties before the strike, including issuing advance warnings, using precision munitions and conducting aerial surveillance.

The IDF said it would continue operations to prevent armed groups in Gaza from rebuilding their military capabilities and acquiring weapons intended to target Israeli troops and civilians.
