Russia hits Lviv with ballistic missiles

Russia carried out ballistic missile strikes on the Ukrainian city of Lviv overnight.

Axar.az informs, citing Ukrainian media, a series of powerful explosions was heard across the city.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi confirmed that critical infrastructure facilities were targeted in the attack.

Ukrainian officials said the strikes involved “Oreshnik” ballistic missiles launched from Russia’s Kapustin Yar test range, according to Yurii Ihnat, head of the Ukrainian Air Force’s information department.
