Bomb blast kills 5 policemen in Pakistan

At least six policemen were killed on Monday in a bomb blast in northwestern Pakistan.

Axar.az informs, citing Geo TV, at least six cops were martyred on Monday when an improvised explosive device (IED) hit their armoured vehicle on Gomal Bazaar road in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Tank district.

The blast destroyed the armoured vehicle, which was returning from Gomal Police Station.

President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of police personnel in a terrorist attack.
