About 600,000 people left Kyiv in January

In January, about 600 thousand people left Kyiv.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko.

“This month, 600 thousand people have already left the capital, which is home to more than 3 million residents,” he said.

It should be noted that Klitschko’s press service later stated that this information was not official migration, but mobile payment data. According to the calculations of operators, about 600 thousand fewer subscribers are currently spending the night in Kyiv.
