Assad regime’s chemical attacks in Syria exposed

Al Jazeera has exposed war crimes committed by the Assad regime in Syria, using audio recordings and documents it obtained.

Axar.az reports that this was covered by Turkish media.

It was revealed that a recording of Major General Bassam al-Hassan, considered one of the key figures of the former regime, has surfaced. In the recording, al-Hassan states that the order to use chemical weapons was personally given by Bashar al-Assad.

The report emphasizes that al-Hassan conveyed the order to Badi Ali, who, in turn, coordinated the attack in collaboration with the head of the chemical weapons unit, Brigadier General Hassan Abbas.
