Moscow records coldest night of winter at -20.4°C

The lowest temperature recorded in Moscow last night was -20.4°C.

Axar.az reports that the Fobos weather center said this was the coldest temperature since the beginning of winter.

It was noted that although no snow fell yesterday, the snow depth decreased by only 1 cm and currently stands at 60 cm, setting a new daily record for the last day of January.

The previous record for this date was 59 cm, recorded on January 31, 1994.
