Armenian police raids ex-president Kocharyan’s party office

Police searches were underway on Thursday (May 14) at the Spitak office of the “Armenia” alliance linked to former Armenian president Robert Kocharyan.

Axar.az informs, citing Armenian media, that the information about the search and the detention of one person was confirmed by representatives of the bloc.

“The investigative actions are being carried out within the framework of a criminal case by the Anti-Corruption Committee,” the statement said.

The Armenian Anti-Corruption Committee has not yet provided further details.
