Iran, U.S. agree on principles for new nuclear deal

Iran and the United States have held constructive talks. The parties have agreed on several guiding principles that will be included in the text of a possible new nuclear agreement.

Axar.az reports that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said this while speaking about the talks held today in Geneva.

Araqchi said that after Iran and the United States have prepared and discussed the draft of the nuclear agreement, they will set a date for the third phase of negotiations:

“During the second phase of negotiations, Iran and the United States discussed more serious issues than in previous consultations.”
