Internet begins returning to Iran after 48 days

Internet access in Iran is beginning to be gradually restored after 48 days.

Axar.az reports that AFP correspondent Ramin Khanizade wrote about this on his X page.

“After over 48 days since the internet shutdown in Iran over what authorities called ‘security concerns’, users can now use the Google search engine,” Khanizade noted.

It should be noted that internet access in the country had been completely shut down after the U.S. and Israeli military operation against Iran on February 28.
