Liverpool have announced that they have parted ways with head coach Arne Slot.

Axar.az reports, citing the club’s press service, that the process of appointing a new manager has already begun.

Slot was previously named Manager of the Year by the League Managers Association. Under his leadership, Liverpool secured their 20th English Premier League title in the 2024/2025 season.

During his tenure, the team also reached the Carabao Cup final and the UEFA Champions League round of 16. In the 2025/2026 season, Liverpool qualified again for the Champions League, where they reached the quarter-finals before being eliminated by PSG with a 0–4 aggregate score.

It should be noted that Slot had been in charge of Liverpool since the summer of 2024.
